Apostle Peter

Description: The Church of St. Peter honors the fiery faith and ardent love for the Lord. They pray to him for the multiplication of faith, in everyday needs, for healing from various ailments. The figure of the apostle is wearing a chiton, in his left hand he holds keys (according to legend, he opens the gates of Paradise for the souls of the dead), his right hand is raised in a blessing gesture. Thanks to the skill of the sculptor, the image of the Apostle Peter is conveyed with great individuality and character. The figure stands on a small metal pedestal. The sculpture is made in the traditions of the old Russian wooden sculpture and complies with all the canons of the Russian Orthodox Church. July 29th celebration day (according to NS)
